Brand Partnerships Manager – SalesHey!
Who Am I?
I'm a Brand Partnerships Manager within the Lifstyle pod. I joined Fanbytes in November 2020 and have since had the opportunity to work with some amazing brands such as Beats By Dre, PepsiCo Urbanears, Seamonkeys (an embarrassing personal fav), and loads more. Prior to Fanbytes I worked at Immediate Media in partnerships sales, Time Inc as a sales executive and just before that I was working as a tennis coach in Italy (so took the obvious career path).
3 Things I'm Responsible For In My Role...
1. New Business; Selling outstanding content, influencer and paid media campaigns to new clients and brands, who often haven't worked in the influencer marketing space before, or haven't worked with Fanbytes before.
2. Upselling, Repeat Business and Networking. Just like any sales person, I'm always looking for the next commercial opportunity that may be lurking within an existing campaign or client's domain. Examples of this would be sounding out additional budgets, alternative brands under the same parent company, or new introductions to contacts who can access alternative budgets and opportunities.
3. Campaign Comms; Nothing would be possible without our amazing campaigns team! Liaising with them throughout the day and working collaboratively pre, during and post campaign plays a vital role within all business that Fanbytes has the pleasure of working across.
What Do I Do Outside of Fanbytes?
Outside of work I'm quite an outdoorsy person, I love spending time with my friends, can't beat a good dinner party. If I had an endless budget I'd spend all of my days travelling, top of the bucket-list would have to be diving Raja Ampat.
Who's My Favourite Content Creator?
@SeaLegacy founded by Christina Mittermeier and Paul Nicklen. They use their exceptional photography skills and understanding of the marine world, combined with the power of social media and storytelling to educate people around the world of the effects of their decisions and behaviors, in turn lending the ocean a higher chance of protection and survival.
What advice would you give to someone applying to Fanbytes?
Be yourself throughout the interview process, and make sure you've checked out some of our previous work so that you're aware of what's got us to where we are now.
