  • Fanbytes Fund - a fund that runs influencer marketing campaigns for black-owned businesses using black creators seeking to elevate the voices of black and diverse creators.

Now with a team of 50, and aggressive growth plans, we are looking to expand our capabilities for creating innovative campaigns for some of the world’s leading brands. This has led to our need for a Talent Director...

About the job:

As the Bytesized Talent Director you will be responsible for leading a team to help manage our diverse ever-growing network of managed talent and drive revenues.  You’ll need to have a strong view on why businesses should embrace influencers and current social platforms, and have a strong background in digital talent and growing talent profiles beyond just brand partnerships.

 You will be responsible for the training and development of junior team members within the pod, empowering them to grow within the company. We are looking for someone who sets the tone for, and presents accountability for, the whole company in demonstrating our values


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Leading the Bytesized talent team on a daily basis, alongside the development of longer term goal setting, tracking and completion whilst supporting the team on ad hoc projects as required.
  • Cultivating key client and talent relationships: Alongside the Talent Managers on the pod you will be responsible for developing relations with our talent and clients and forging new opportunities.
  • Building out commercial strategies for the talent division – key types of clients and how to stay top of mind.
  • Talent Revenue: Responsible for driving revenue from talent led opportunities and proactively creating bigger opportunities by collaborating with Fanbytes partnerships team
  • Improving processes: Work with the Commercial Director to finesse our processes and ways of working - both internally amongst peers and externally with clients
  • Financial management: Ensuring that the team are delivering profitability and efficiency 


Our Ideal candidate will:

  • Have at least 4/5 years experience working with talent, creating partnerships and growing talent profiles.
  • Be knowledgeable of drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements.
  • Have experience leading a team of 3 or more.
  • Make strategic decisions that influence managed teams and the company at scale
